Data Processing Terms

When your customers use your booking page, we handle their information for you. This page sets out how we do that.
1. Who this covers
These terms are between ViralVaultNetwork (VVN), Ondipudur post, Coimbatore, 641 016, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us"), and the business or agency that holds a Localwise HQ account ("you"). They form part of our Terms of Service, and apply when we handle personal information on your behalf.
2. Our roles
You decide why your customers' personal information is used, so you're the controller. We handle it for you, so we're the processor. For our own account and website information, see our Privacy Policy.
3. What we process

4. Your instructions
We process this information only to provide the service, following your instructions, which include your settings and use of the product, unless the law requires otherwise. If we believe an instruction breaks data protection law, we'll tell you.
5. Agencies
An agency may run an account for its client businesses. When it does, it may give instructions and accept these terms for each client, and it confirms it's allowed to. Each client business stays the controller of its own customers' information.
6. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for having a lawful basis for the information you collect, for telling your customers how you use it, and for following our Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Confidentiality
We limit access to people who need it to run or support the service, and they must keep it confidential.
8. Security
We use the measures described under security on our GDPR page, including encrypted connections, access controls, and database rules that keep one customer's data separate from another's.
9. Providers we use
You allow us to use the providers listed under providers we use. We'll update that list before adding or replacing a provider, and we require providers to protect the information. If you object to a change for a good data protection reason, contact us, and you may stop using the affected service.
10. International transfers
We may process information in India, the United States, and other countries. See international transfers.
11. Helping you
We'll reasonably help you respond to requests from your customers, and give you information you reasonably need to show you're meeting your own legal duties. If a customer contacts us directly about your data, we may pass the request to you.
12. Audits
If you need to check that we're meeting these terms, we'll answer reasonable written questions and share the information you need. If that isn't enough, or a regulator requires it, you may audit us once a year. You'll give us 30 days' notice, pay your own costs, keep what you learn confidential, and not see other customers' information.
13. Breaches
We'll tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your customers' information, and share what we reasonably can to help you respond.
14. Deletion
We delete information as set out under how long we keep it. When your account ends, we'll delete or return your customers' personal information on request, unless the law requires us to keep it.
